Discussion Board Examples
My favorite descriptive writing prompt was about my Thanksgiving break plans. I really enjoy talking about my family and time spent with them, so it was easy to describe the event.
My best example is of week 6 expository styles. The reason this is my best example is I think my first paragraph was strong and then I think I did a good job explaining what I did and other methods someone could use.
My worst discussion board example was week ten research paper topics. This discussion board needed to be more detailed. I also needed to sound more confident in what I was saying.
CLASS REFLECTION
" The most surprising concept I learned this year was how to write a well-written paper. This may seem like an easy and basic concept to some, but before this year I hadn't written very many formal papers. This semester has helped me to learn how to keep my paper well organized. I have worked on improving the layout of my paper in order for it to be easy for my audience to read. I have learned many different helpful little tips that make your writing come together as a whole. The other big thing I hadn't worked with much is citations. I have definitely learned a lot about how to correctly use citations in my writings and put them at the end. The citations took me a while to fully understand and do correctly, but I now have a better hand on it."
